| Description: |
An orchestral work with a song mid way, ending with solo on electric guitar
|
| Notes: |
The moody title track 'REFLECTIONS AT EVERY CORNER' is mainly an orchestra piece with a song in the middle. However, the approaching ending introduces the addition of a rock drum kit, bass guitar and a searing electric guitar solo bringing the album to its big concert hall climax. The ending thins out and transforms back to a brief AM radio scan (similar to the album's 1st track 'LIFE AT EVERY STATION') before you hear the radio being switched off.

REFLECTIONS AT EVERY CORNER
© 2008 Jeff Wyatt (SOCAN)
As my time goes by,
the years keep getting shorter.
In truth I see that my life,
reflects at every corner.
Sometimes I see the sun,
& still more dreams worth waiting for.
Never sure that I’d make my way
On the highway to become a man.
At 51 years old,
I look back at my paces.
Sometimes I stumble and fall,
Sometimes I leave no traces.
I’ve seen a crazy world;
I’ve also seen a sane one.
It’s my belief that there is a plan,
On the pathway to become a man.
